About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer incoming calls regarding healthcare benefits
  • Assist members with Medicare enrollments, billing, claims, benefits, eligibility, invoicing, and related services
  • Explain Medicare Part D, Part C Medicare Advantage, and Dual Special Need Program (DSNP) levels
  • Listen to customers, answer questions, and make callbacks or follow-up calls as needed
  • Resolve members’ issues and strive for one-call resolution
  • Navigate members’ plan benefits and review client policies and procedures
  • Use multiple client systems and provided resources while complying with regulatory guidelines
  • Multitask and apply problem-solving skills
  • Provide polite, customer-focused service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree
  • Successfully complete customer service assessment and computer-based typing test
  • Complete mandatory paid training with 100% attendance
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Flexible availability between 7:45am–11:00pm EST Monday–Saturday and 7:45am–8:00pm EST Sunday
  • Learn and use 15–20 systems
  • Average 30–40 calls per day
  • Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
  • Ability to hardwire the work computer to the home modem via Ethernet
  • Satellite and wireless internet are not acceptable
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace with no unauthorized individuals, animals, devices, or writing utensils during working hours
  • Role subject to continued workspace monitoring
