About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Gather necessary information from requestors and recipients clearly, consistently, and professionally
  • Address, document, and resolve identified problems in a timely manner
  • Route calls to appropriate units
  • Complete required monthly telephone monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of two years’ customer service or call center experience
  • At least one year experience working with older adults or persons with disabilities, preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Ability to adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work 8a-5p Monday through Friday
