About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage healthcare products from design through deployment and implementation support
Contribute to building and maintaining modern applications with cloud-native architecture
Provide top-down oversight throughout execution to ensure successful delivery aligned with stakeholder goals
Lead Scrum Master/Manager teams and address project questions and challenges
Own the delivery team as a supervisor and manage performance
Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel and ensure progress toward milestones
Ensure processes are followed and product vision is implemented on time
Manage risks and dependencies and increase value throughout the project/product lifecycle
Update and maintain production technologies, including maintenance and installation
Develop comprehensive project/product plans aligned with customer requirements and company goals
Coordinate managers and technical personnel as required
Ensure required documentation is maintained for knowledge management
Define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for project staff
Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations
Execute large construction projects, refreshes, and retrofits from planning through completion
Approve concept designs, deliver project schedules, and assign and allocate resources
Manage internal staff, including hiring, mentoring, training, and evaluation
Hire and manage contractors, architects, and engineers and coordinate interfaces
Prepare and maintain budgets and master project schedules
Document project phases and prepare recurring project status reports for senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of managerial experience
Deep functional knowledge of healthcare processes, especially Medicaid business
Understanding of cloud-native architecture and associated technologies
Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods
Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in the technology department
Excellent time management and organizational skills, including experience establishing guidelines for others
Strong personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting teamwork
Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to predict challenges and proactively head off obstacles
Exposure to enterprise architecture/development
Knowledge of NoSQL, microservices, and cloud
Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
Hands-on development experience in prior roles is a plus
