About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure solutions
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure across VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and technical solutions
- Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational support materials
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, operating system, virtualization, and cloud issues
- Participate in project delivery activities, including off-hours implementations when required
- Manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Current experience supporting Windows, SQL, and cloud-based environments
- Experience with automation and script development; PowerShell preferred
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM (OVM), Azure, and AWS
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL, BIND, and Sendmail
- Experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
