About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the month-end close, including bank and accounting reconciliations, account analysis, and review of journal entries
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison with the outsourced accounting firm by providing information and reviewing deliverables
- Prepare reports and documents requested by the external audit team
- Maintain and monitor the budget and forecast
- Update management reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and KPIs) in internal systems
- Support requests and demands from the Finance leadership team
- Track process improvement projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics
- Intermediate Excel skills (lookup formulas, pivot tables, and data preparation)
- Alignment with Confiance Medical’s values
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals: debits and credits, income statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge and practical experience using AI tools (Claude)
- Interest in automation and technology
