Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance internal products in Python within a cloud-based, serverless architecture.
  • Understand how user teams use the product, identify what is not working well, and propose improvements.
  • Keep up with advances in technology and AI and bring opportunities that can create value to the team.
  • Participate in solution discussions with a technical perspective grounded in real-world usage, not just feasibility.
  • Deliver in weekly cycles, focusing on the work that creates the most value.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team spanning product, architecture, and development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Python development.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with data engineering, data science, or machine learning: understanding how these teams work day to day.
  • Experience using AI in the development workflow.
  • Curious, self-directed, and user-focused mindset.
  • Ability to balance speed and quality in delivery.
  • Previous experience as a data engineer, ML engineer, or on platform teams is a plus.
  • Experience with serverless functions (Cloud Functions, Lambda) is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD, especially GitHub Actions, is a plus.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data is a plus.
