About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible in the fund department for corporate tax, international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS), and client tax reporting
  • Deal with strategic and operational tax topics relating to funds and clients
  • Review transfer pricing documentation
  • Deal with international jurisdictions
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of tax regulation in foreign countries
  • Handle worldwide tax reporting initiatives from the OECD, foreign governments, and other regulatory authorities
  • Evaluate tax reporting and accurately reflect international tax implications
  • Provide cross-business-unit support
  • Analyse tax implications of contemplated transactions, business initiatives, and proposals to aid decision-making
  • Improve controls and processes, including effective implementation of technology solutions
  • Regularly review operational control procedures and internal controls
  • Support auditors during tax audits and handle correspondence with tax authorities
  • Work on ad hoc projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's in Law, Economics, or Finance
  • Professional experience at a Big Four firm or a top-tier law firm is required
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Swiss and international tax law and transfer pricing
  • Understanding of tax accounting
  • Experience with cross-border and international tax issues
  • Detail-oriented personality with excellent analytical and solution-oriented project management skills
  • Strong organizational and IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Fluent English
