About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the asset management middle office investment fund sector, including CISA, ETF and UCITS
- Oversee the reliability of data flows within the department and to custodian banks or outsourced fund-service providers
- Develop concepts, specifications, analyses and best practices
- Lead and develop a team
- Supervise data quality, NAV calculations, fund key figures and cost transparency
- Manage PRIIP Key Information Documents, fact sheet production and fund report preparation
- Make valuation decisions and participate in committees and governing bodies
- Collaborate with specialist teams and monitor regulatory requirements
- Plan and implement optimisation projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Further develop and automate Fund Operations processes and services
- Handle ad hoc projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Economics
- CPA or CISA as an advantage
- Professional experience at a Big Four firm as an auditor or consultant in the funds sector, in the middle office of an asset management firm, or at a fund service provider
- Knowledge of Swiss and international funds
- Experience working with fund managers and financial market supervisory authorities such as FINMA, FMA, CSSF, etc.
- Interest in IT and experience with process automation
- Programming skills, e.g. Python, SQL and VBA, as well as database knowledge
- Analytical and conceptual skills with high attention to detail
- Proactive and communicative personality
- High-performing and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Service-oriented with the ability to pass on information
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
