Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and execute ConnectWise platforms from requirements gathering through implementation and subsequent support
Design technical and functional specifications
Manage the product backlog
Coordinate and enhance development efforts with cross-functional teams
Aid partners in product navigation and find effective solutions
Support the Product Management team
Research, analyze, and document findings
Coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members
Define and drive product business plans, strategy, and positioning aligned with corporate growth strategy
Collaboratively discover solutions, assess risks, and present data-informed solution narratives
Identify market opportunities and analyze competitive landscape, trends, and emerging opportunities
Interact with customers and prospects to define market requirements and communicate needs to the development team
Monitor product performance, adoption rates, user experience, and production issues
Prioritize the product backlog according to business and partner needs
Represent ConnectWise in partner engagements, events, conferences, and other venues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision
Recognized subject matter expert of applicable work area
Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements
Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical partners
Ability to work in rapid pace environment with multiple projects, while maintaining high quality work
Demonstrated commitment to partner and team-oriented management
Familiarity with software development, database, server/client, and similar technical concepts
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product management
Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
Knowledge of MSDP industry
Preferred: Knowledge of Agile Methodology, software development life cycle, and Atlassian Product Suite
Bachelor’s degree in related field or related business experience
5+ years relevant experience
Preferred: Experience in ConnectWise PSA application
