About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy nationally significant mobile infrastructure projects across Aotearoa New Zealand
Scope, plan, and select viable locations for telecommunications infrastructure projects
Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service companies
Prepare and interpret specifications, drawings, and regulations for passive infrastructure builds
Support site selection and planning for new site builds
Produce bills of materials and future forecasts based on design requirements
Develop concept designs, plan projects, and track progress
Provide technical input into project design and delivery
Collaborate with property, engineering, and delivery colleagues on end-to-end project delivery
Liaise and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and efficient build completion
Manage subcontracting partners to improve delivery and business flexibility
Adhere to New Zealand compliance standards and Connexa workplace health and safety policies
Participate in technical information-sharing forums representing Connexa
Work with Project and Programme Managers to deliver agreed project outcomes and respond to delivery priorities and sequencing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Passive infrastructure build experience
Telecommunications engineering experience (desirable but not essential)
Relevant tertiary qualification desirable
Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
Fantastic communication skills in all formats
A creative approach to problem-solving
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
A recognition and embrace of differences and diversity in the workplace
A growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
Intimate knowledge of civil construction, telecommunications infrastructure and networks
