Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating final expense life insurance options
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments by phone
  • Educate clients on final expense whole life products, policy features, underwriting tiers, and coverage amounts
  • Match clients with suitable carriers and products
  • Guide clients through application and underwriting processes
  • Build relationships with seniors and their families through empathetic conversations
  • Work a pipeline of company-provided leads
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals
  • Track activity and pipeline in the CRM
  • Stay current on state insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Document sales and service activities in the CRM
  • Collaborate with managers, trainers, and team members
  • Support additional duties and special projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Life & Health Insurance License (required)
  • 2–3 years of life insurance sales experience; final expense experience a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to have empathetic, trust-building conversations with senior clients
  • Comfort working a phone sales environment with company-provided leads
  • Strong technical skills and comfort using multiple systems
  • iOS, Salesforce, Five9, and Slack preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills — clear, warm, and consultative
  • Bilingual a plus
