About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating final expense life insurance options
- Conduct thorough needs assessments via phone
- Educate clients on final expense whole life products, policy features, underwriting tiers, and coverage amounts
- Match clients with suitable carriers and products
- Guide clients through application and underwriting processes
- Build relationships with seniors and their families
- Work a pipeline of company-provided leads
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and track activity in the CRM
- Stay current on state insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Document sales and service activities in the CRM
- Collaborate with managers, trainers, and team members
- Support additional duties and special projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Life & Health Insurance License (required)
- 2–3 years of life insurance sales experience; final expense experience a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to have empathetic, trust-building conversations with senior clients
- Comfort working a phone sales environment with company-provided leads
- Strong technical skills and comfort using multiple systems (iOS, Salesforce, Five9, Slack preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills — clear, warm, and consultative
- Bilingual a plus
