About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform daily field operations across assigned wells and facilities in Southeast New Mexico
  • Monitor equipment and production performance to ensure safe, reliable flow and timely response to operational needs
  • Inspect tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and pipelines for leaks or operational issues
  • Gauge tanks to measure crude oil and water levels for safe and efficient transfers
  • Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift wells, sand traps, and flowback equipment
  • Maintain chemical injection rates and execute well start-up/shut-in procedures
  • Enter and validate production data in digital systems
  • Participate in facility walk-throughs, safety reviews, and regulatory documentation
  • Update piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security documentation
  • Respond to alarms and fulfill on-call duties
  • Apply safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Make operational decisions, troubleshoot equipment, and support production targets and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Current/valid driver’s license
  • 1 or more years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment operation, or inspection
  • Able to perform the physical demands and work environment requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Oil and gas production or health, safety, and environmental (HSE) experience preferred
  • Associate’s degree or trade certification in Production Technology or a related field preferred
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • Responsive to visual and auditory signals, alarms, and instructions
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb up to 24 feet, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand tools for minor repairs and equipment adjustments
  • Ability to drive between multiple sites
  • Ability to work alone for extended periods
  • Ability to use PPE and follow strict safety protocols
  • Ability to work weekends and participate in an on-call rotation as required
  • Sponsorship for employment authorization in the U.S. is not available
