About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise and support clients in Business Intelligence, corporate planning, and group consolidation
Analyze business requirements together with Finance, Controlling, and Group Accounting teams
Develop concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system concepts
Model and implement OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards, and planning systems
Develop and optimize data integrations from ERP, financial, and upstream systems
Support client projects from initial concept through implementation and go-live
Conduct workshops, user training sessions, and client presentations
Provide long-term support and continuous development of existing client solutions
Support presales activities, solution concepts, and client presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, financial planning, and group consolidation
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and controlling processes
Practical experience analyzing and optimizing Finance and Controlling processes
Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner when engaging with clients and business units
Analytical and structured approach to work, combined with a high degree of ownership
Interest in data-driven solutions and an understanding of BI and planning systems
Fluent German skills for effective client consulting and team communication
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and workshops (approximately once a month)
Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1 (nice to have)
