About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Procure technical components, drawing parts, externally manufactured components, and services for ongoing projects
  • Request quotations, compare them based on cost, quality, and delivery time, and conduct negotiations
  • Build long-term supplier relationships and further develop existing partnerships
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop alternative sourcing strategies
  • Track delivery dates and ensure the timely supply of production and project operations
  • Support the handling of complaints and help develop suppliers together with the responsible specialist departments
  • Contribute to the professionalization and continuous improvement of procurement processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed specialized technical or commercial training
  • At least three years of professional experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, drawing parts, and production workflows
  • Experience in metal technology or a comparable manufacturing environment
  • Experience in operational purchasing, combined with a strategic understanding of procurement markets
  • Strong negotiation skills and a professional approach to supplier management
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems
  • Very good German skills at C1 level or higher
  • Confident English skills at B2 level
  • Willingness to work on-site in Tyrol/Wildermieming 80% of the time
