About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source technical components, precision-manufactured parts, subcontracted manufacturing services, and other services for ongoing projects
- Request quotations, compare them in terms of cost, quality, and lead time, and conduct negotiations
- Build long-term supplier relationships and further develop existing partnerships
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop alternative sourcing strategies
- Track delivery schedules and ensure the on-time supply of production and project requirements
- Support complaint handling and work with the relevant departments to further develop suppliers
- Contribute to the professionalization and continuous improvement of procurement processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed specialized vocational training or commercial training
- At least three years of professional experience in purchasing or procurement
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, precision-manufactured parts, and production workflows
- Experience in metalworking or a comparable manufacturing environment
- Experience in operational purchasing and a strategic understanding of procurement markets
- Strong negotiation skills and a professional approach to supplier management
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems
- Very good German language skills at C1 level
- Confident English language skills at B2 level
- Willingness to work on-site in Tyrol/Wildermieming 80% of the time
