About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain Python APIs, primarily using FastAPI
Contribute to the development and automation of the product and its various components
Contribute to automated deployment mechanisms for Bare Metal servers
Develop and maintain Docker and Linux environments
Participate in automation initiatives and the implementation of CI/CD processes
Use Git in an environment structured around the GitFlow model
Contribute to building and refining the backlog through features and user stories
Proactively propose technical enhancements and continuous product improvements
Participate in application operations and ensure the product remains operational
Handle bug fixes, maintenance, and incident resolution activities
Contribute to maintaining and improving automation tools and mechanisms
Identify and resolve issues affecting application components
Participate in the maintenance of Linux and Docker environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies and the team’s daily meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience as a Software Engineer / Backend Python Developer
Experience developing and maintaining APIs as part of a team
Autonomous, curious, rigorous, and well-organized
Proficiency in Python and backend development, particularly with FastAPI
Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs, with knowledge of Poetry and ORMs
Proficiency with Git, GitLab, GitHub, and GitFlow
Strong knowledge of Linux and Docker environments
Strong knowledge of databases
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and Agile / SAFe methodologies
Experience in Cloud, OpenStack, Ironic, Bare Metal, or Infrastructure as Code environments is a plus
Knowledge of OpenStack, Ironic, Bare Metal, server provisioning, or private Cloud is valued
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
