About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, secure and scale back-end architectures
- Develop and maintain solutions using the Spring framework
- Industrialize solutions according to CI/CD best practices
- Participate in the validation phase with end-users
- Implement data exposure solutions, including APIs
- Develop back-end solutions using Java and Spring
- Apply good programming practices and ensure code quality
- Develop and maintain microservices
- Implement unit testing and versioning practices
- Work with cloud environments and containerized solutions
- Ensure the reliability and consistency of referential data solutions
- Contribute to maintaining high data quality across different referential data sources
- Support the evolution and scalability of back-end solutions
- Contribute to the identification and reduction of discrepancies in reporting
- Work across technical development, business analysis and technical leadership responsibilities
- Collaborate with end-users and technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in Java/Spring development
- Experience working with back-end architectures
- Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and versioning
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Previous experience with third-party data or data governance/management is an asset
- Previous experience in a BNP Paribas environment is an asset
- Interest in multi-hat roles combining Technical Business Analysis, Development and Technical Lead responsibilities
- Expert English
- Basic French / Notions
