About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the cross-functional technical authority across the entire scope
Define and evolve DevOps and Cloud standards, including CI/CD, IaC, security, and observability
Ensure sound, foundational technical architecture decisions
Challenge proposed solutions and arbitrate critical technical decisions
Support teams in developing their skills and applying best practices
Lead Cloud and DevOps technical projects, including containerization, automation, migration, and modernization
Coordinate work across infrastructure, development, security, production, and partner teams
Ensure commitments relating to timelines, quality, and risks are met
Anticipate and manage critical dependencies and blockers
Analyze technical impacts, risks, and operational constraints
Design and validate Cloud and DevOps architectures
Ensure solutions are industrialized through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
Ensure compliance with security, production, and architecture standards
Prepare and contribute to architecture and project commitment documents
Lead change management activities and CAB reviews
Coordinate critical production releases, including out-of-hours deployments
Oversee post-production monitoring and reliability improvement plans
Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and optimization initiatives
Produce and consolidate project metrics covering progress, risks, and workload
Maintain a consolidated multi-project view
Contribute to portfolio management and prioritization
Support the Project Director with operational management and the coordination of application project managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, infrastructure, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in highly industrialized, mission-critical environments
Strong technical experience in Cloud and DevOps
Proven experience managing complex projects
Initial experience as a Tech Lead or cross-functional technical authority is preferred
Advanced proficiency in a public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent solutions
Automation and scripting skills
Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
Observability skills, including logs, metrics, and traces
Strong background in mission-critical production and high availability
Expertise in managing complex technical projects
Ability to manage high risks and critical dependencies
Multi-stakeholder planning and cross-functional coordination
