About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the operational maintenance of network and security infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance and availability, and handle incidents
  • Configure and administer network equipment, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents
  • Contribute to the evolution and improvement of network and security architectures
  • Deploy updates and security patches for network equipment
  • Manage backups and configurations for network equipment
  • Collaborate with external partners
  • Document network procedures and architectures
  • Contribute to projects focused on evolving IT infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of experience in network and security administration
  • Ideally, experience in a multi-site environment
  • Experience managing complex incidents
  • Experience administering Cisco infrastructure
  • Experience securing enterprise networks
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (IOS, IOS XE, Catalyst, Nexus)
  • Proficiency in LAN/WAN/WLAN environments
  • Knowledge of network security and Cisco firewalls
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and AAA/NAC protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS)
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE, Cisco Meraki, and Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Experience with Zabbix network monitoring
  • Experience with Wireshark network analysis
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for network automation
