About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and execute functional and technical tests, both manual and automated
Perform manual acceptance testing for enhancements and bug fixes
Conduct regression testing in test environments
Design, maintain, and execute automated API tests using Postman, JavaScript, and Cucumber/Gherkin
Maintain and expand front-end automated test coverage with Cypress
Identify, document, qualify, and track defects with development teams
Participate in refinement sessions and review User Stories to define acceptance criteria and test cases
Promote BDD/Shift-Left practices
Write and maintain functional test plans and Gherkin scenarios
Participate in pre-production validations and support releases
Analyze production incidents and contribute to their qualification and resolution
Use logs and technical data to identify the root causes of issues
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in a QA role
Proven experience in manual testing and test automation
Proficiency in Postman, JavaScript, Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress, and TestKube
Knowledge of APIs, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and Apache Kafka
Knowledge of Vue.js 3, Nuxt.js, and Micro Frontends
Proficiency in GitLab CI and Jira
Experience with Agile, BDD, and Shift-Left methodologies
