Develop and enhance services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
Contribute to modernization and redevelopment initiatives
Support the launch of new projects
Take ownership of version upgrades and technology obsolescence management
Challenge the existing codebase and architecture
Propose improvements in performance, resilience, and telemetry
Integrate Security by Design principles from the outset
Contribute to addressing OWASP vulnerabilities and dependency issues
Automate testing to secure releases
Ensure the proper integration of services with various systems and interfaces
Analyze complex incidents and anomalies
Use logs and monitoring tools
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Improve error handling
Ensure application performance and resilience
Leverage OpenTelemetry and the ELK stack to strengthen observability
Prioritize and independently address technical issues
Ensure production releases remain stable
Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 5 years of experience in Java development
Strong command of Java 17+
Strong command of Spring Boot and Spring Security
Ideally, experience with applications involving stringent availability and security requirements
Ability to analyze code and architecture, identify risks, and propose improvements
Ability to investigate production incidents through to their root cause
Expertise in MS SQL, Security by Design, OWASP, log analysis, Root Cause Analysis, application performance, resilience, automated testing, OpenTelemetry, ELK, OpenShift, GitLab CI, CI/CD, and application integration
Fluency in French is mandatory
Fluency in English is mandatory
Autonomy, critical thinking, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and rigor
Ability to challenge the status quo
Strong security awareness and a production mindset
Ability to communicate in an international environment
