About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define test coverage from the feature analysis phase
- Design and develop end-to-end tests with development teams
- Define, implement, and maintain test data sets for microservices architectures
- Develop and improve test automation solutions
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform manual and exploratory testing
- Collaborate with developers to define and implement front-end test scenarios
- Contribute to defining testing strategies and QA best practices
- Monitor automated test execution and identify malfunctions
- Analyze and fix flaky tests
- Maintain and improve the test data injection tool
- Prepare and communicate test reports, defect reports, and coverage metrics
- Measure and track functional and non-functional quality metrics
- Identify and implement QA process improvements
- Work to minimize defects detected in production
- Ensure the consistency of test environments and infrastructure
- Document testing strategies, automation frameworks, and QA processes in Jira and Confluence
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular reporting to the PMO and Quality Assurance department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in computer science, engineering, or software development, or equivalent experience, including experience gained through a coding school
- Proven experience in technical QA, with a strong focus on test automation
- Proficiency in modern testing tools and QA best practices
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing testing strategies and scenarios
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and microservices architectures
- Experience collaborating with development teams, Product Owners, and IT architects
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress, and Vitest or Jest
- Knowledge of Node.js, Express, and Nx
- Knowledge of functional, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Fluent French
- Advanced English
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly understand technical environments and complex issues
- Independence, proactivity, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work closely with technical and functional teams
