About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for operating subsidiaries and consolidated holding companies
  • Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative data used to develop financial projections
  • Maintain and assess financial models, including model modifications and upgrades to improve projection accuracy
  • Partner with leadership across the organization to support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic initiatives
  • Develop complex financial scenarios, sensitivities, and analyses for special projects and ad hoc requests
  • Measure and monitor actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and internal goals
  • Provide analytical insights that drive financial results and support decision-making and corporate objectives
  • Develop financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with Finance and Treasury teams to implement best practices and develop business analysis frameworks
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve processes, systems, and automation
  • Assist with presenting and communicating financial forecasts and results to peers and leadership
  • Support capital investment forecasting, treasury activities related to cash operations and debt capital markets, and revenue requirement calculations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field of study
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related financial analysis experience in budget development, financial modeling, or accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and precision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate directly, openly, and effectively with key stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to think creatively; must have ambition to challenge the status quo
  • Highly driven and self-motivated; ability to work independently without prescriptive guidance
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented, easily adapts to different work styles and environments.
