About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and requirements gathering through solution design, development, implementation, change management, and adoption
- Clarify business needs, establish priorities, set milestones, evaluate alternatives, and recommend scalable solutions
- Build stakeholder alignment and influence decisions across organizational boundaries
- Serve as the primary technical and functional subject matter expert for assigned financial systems
- Design, develop, implement, and support analytical tools, reports, dashboards, integrations, and planning solutions
- Model, extract, and analyze data across financial systems
- Drive process improvement, innovation, standardization, automation, and operational efficiency
- Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and key decision points to leadership
- Serve as system administrator, owning security administration, production support, issue resolution, testing, and release management
- Provide technical guidance to internal and external resources and maintain expertise in relevant technologies and industry trends
- Perform financial analysis and support special projects, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and ad hoc reporting for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to lower-level professionals and support employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible work experience
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and system initiatives from planning and requirements gathering through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage ambiguity, evaluate alternatives, exercise sound judgment, influence decision-making, prioritize competing requests, and drive work to completion
- Experience leading system enhancements, upgrades, user test script development, user acceptance testing, and ongoing production support
- Hands-on experience with financial planning, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Oracle PBCS, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, PowerPlan, Power BI, Oracle PeopleSoft, or comparable applications
- Experience with multidimensional and relational data structures, metadata management, calculation scripts, business rules, member formulas, Groovy, data-load processes, ETL development, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and advanced SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence Finance, technical, and business stakeholders
- Advanced problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial models, information, and concepts
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and workflows in complex, multi-departmental and multi-company environments
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis related to business planning, forecasting, capital and operating expense budgeting, and performance reporting
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; ITC does not sponsor employment visas such as H-1B or TN visas
