About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of statutes, case law, agency orders, and related matters
  • Lead or support Legal Operations initiatives involving legal technology, data reporting and analytics, workflow optimization, process improvement, and department-wide operational projects
  • Implement, administer, and continuously improve Legal Department technologies and business processes, including system configuration, training, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization
  • Develop reports, metrics, dashboards, and analyses for departmental planning, resource allocation, matter management, and operational decision-making
  • Draft memoranda and correspondence
  • Assist attorneys with case and matter preparation, including drafting agreements, filings, pleadings, comments, and other submissions
  • Monitor dockets and work schedules to inform the legal department and ensure compliance and efficient operations
  • Manage discovery projects, including coordinating collection and analysis of discovery materials and drafting preliminary responses
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience
  • Ability to effectively conduct research related to performance of job duties
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with conflicting priorities
  • Effective use of Westlaw, Microsoft Office, NetDocuments, and similar programs
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
