About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Assist with monthly financial reports and financial statements
- Support preparation of notes and disclosures
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues
- Support audit activities, including schedules, documentation, and responses to audit queries
- Support closure of financial statements and other period-end requirements
- Undertake ad hoc finance projects and assignments
- Analyze financial data and provide information and reports for business requirements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain financial information and documentation
- Provide additional Finance team support during peak periods or as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good hands-on experience in General Accounting
- Ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Experience preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Ability to assist with monthly financial reports and financial statements
- Ability to support audit activities and respond to audit queries
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide reports
- Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain financial information and documentation
- Ability to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of Finance deliverables
