About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and maintain responsive interfaces for the web portal and fluid features for the mobile app
Develop backend routes and services to securely integrate the PostgreSQL database with the portal and app
Create tables, relationships, and efficient queries in PostgreSQL to ensure low latency on AWS
Configure file uploads and retrieval through S3 and support continuous deployment of applications to Staging and Production environments
Apply programming best practices, including Clean Code and component reuse
Perform unit and integration testing
Participate in code reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with React.js and React Native, including Hooks, Context API, state management, and navigation
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with experience using libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Material UI
Experience with Node.js, developing and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL, and implementing authentication and authorization
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, data modeling, SQL, and tools such as Prisma, Sequelize, or Knex.js
Knowledge of AWS, especially RDS, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS/App Runner, S3, and CloudFront/Amplify
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes, using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
Knowledge of AWS Lambda and experience integrating web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud services are considered a plus
