About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
- Act as a member of the intervention and/or support team during emergencies, or substitute for other emergency team appointments as defined in the PEI
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment according to the maintenance plan
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning plant mechanical equipment
- Supervise mechanical tasks contracted to external companies
- Participate in maintenance teams to resolve breakdowns
- Prepare repair and technical reports and collaborate in incident analysis and investigations
- Collaborate on procedures, shutdown planning, and maintenance plans, proposing improvements
- Use the Plant Management System (BFS) to create Shortage Notifications, work orders, and material requests
- Perform supervisor-specific tasks when appointed as a replacement
- Participate in 5 Whys
- Collaborate on implementation of the integrated safety, health, environment, and major accident management system
- Promote continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher vocational training
- At least 3 years in a similar position
- Proficiency with Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance
- Experience with industrial boilers
- No travel required
