About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Organise activities supporting crisis and resiliency activities relating to special projects and business units.
  • Drive consistent methodology, approach, and standards for planning, training, and exercising across crisis leadership teams.
  • Undertake projects and initiatives addressing crisis-program strategy, governance, response structures, and senior-executive training and development needs.
  • Work across Business Continuity, Employee Readiness, and Crisis Management programs to develop and deliver major projects addressing emerging risks, including contentious elections.
  • Work with team leads on strategies that bolster function-level and product-level resiliency planning.
  • Drive global initiatives that integrate lessons from exercises and actual crises.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to build program awareness, enhance user experience, and improve preparedness capabilities.
  • Innovate tools to expedite implementation of resiliency program management plans and capabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven history of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and shifting goals.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in an operation, project management, consulting, or equivalent environment.
  • 1+ years of work experience in the Risk and Resilience space; crisis management preferred.
  • Experience helping to mature a global resiliency program.
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable plans with minimal guidance.
  • Experience being a connector across teams and managing projects against KPIs through to completion.
  • Experience developing and documenting procedures and workflows.
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to follow-up.
