About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, architect, and develop high-performance data pipelines
  • Develop Data Quality processes
  • Implement robust cloud-native architectures
  • Build infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Develop integration pipelines to industrialize the deployment of data platforms
  • Use coding assistants and LLMs to accelerate development, generate boilerplate code, and optimize algorithms
  • Prepare the data foundations required to feed AI systems
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business requirements into data architectures
  • Participate in internal Guilds, promote best practices, monitor technology trends, and create reusable assets
  • Work under the guidance of a Lead who ensures the overall quality of delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or Master's degree in computer science, software development, applied mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience in data engineering, with demonstrated expertise in deploying scalable data platforms
  • Experience in a consulting firm is a plus
  • Strong Python and SQL development skills
  • Experience with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform, or with Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code concepts, particularly Terraform
  • Proficiency in orchestration using tools such as Cloud Composer or Dataiku
  • Strong understanding of AI and experience using development assistance tools
  • Strong Software Engineering mindset applied to the data domain
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate technical debt and propose continuous improvements
