About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own complex production incidents from investigation through resolution
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP
Execute staging and production deployments, including high-impact releases
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
Implement security mitigations and support access reviews and security audits
Develop operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
Mentor junior team members and support incident response best practices
Participate in an on-call or escalation rotation as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced hands-on experience with AWS, including system and network administration
Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure provisioning
Experience managing production deployments and troubleshooting complex technical issues
Knowledge of cloud security, user permissions, firewall rules, and audit preparation
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, or PagerDuty
Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
Preferred: experience with GCP, containerized applications, AWS Lambda, EC2, or ECS/EKS
Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Preferred: experience with Twilio services
Preferred: AWS certifications or a background in CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, or production support
