About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop internal AI agents, LLMs, logic, and reasoning loops for complex multi-step tasks
Engineer robust, full-stack enterprise web components with high performance and security
Manage and optimize the interface between AI agents and data
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code
Lead rigorous code reviews and refactoring initiatives
Design and implement unit and functional tests for traditional code and non-deterministic AI workflows
Build and scale AI agent systems within Convoso’s enterprise SaaS application
Develop core agentic logic, frameworks, and high-performance backend infrastructure for intelligent automation at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expert-level ability to build and orchestrate autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, and executing multi-step tasks via reasoning loops (e.g., React)
Direct experience developing internal logic and interface layers that allow LLMs to interact with APIs, databases, and system functions
Hands-on ability to create automated unit and functional testing suites for non-deterministic AI agent outputs and workflows
Extensive experience developing production-grade features using LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Claude, including context window management, prompt optimization, and cost-monitoring
Expert proficiency using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude
Proficiency in MySQL and relational databases, including complex raw queries
Strong grasp of Go concurrency patterns, memory management, garbage collection behavior, and profiling
Deep comfort with Linux/POSIX systems and TCP/UDP sockets, WebSockets, and gRPC
Experience designing transactional state machines, resilient webhook/event pipelines, and defensive API integrations
Experience writing integration tests and stress tests, instrumenting observability, and debugging end-to-end
10+ years of experience in software engineering, design patterns, and clean coding practices applied to large-scale web applications
Practical knowledge of model evaluation, experiment tracking, and production performance monitoring
Strong problem-solving skills focused on translating business needs into prioritized technical development
