About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a 16-week rotation in Research and Development Engineering
- Produce project deliverables and documents using engineering knowledge
- Follow the Quality Management System and applicable FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements
- Maintain required training and pursue continuous development and growth
- Work professionally with people at various levels of the global organization
- Follow workplace safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Meet company quality and quantity standards
- Work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision on meaningful medical device manufacturing projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- College or university junior or senior preferred, working toward a bachelor's degree in Engineering; graduate students also considered
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Ability to utilize engineering knowledge to produce project deliverables and documents
- Ability to adhere to the Quality Management System and applicable FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to maintain position training requirements and pursue continuous development
- Ability to work and interact effectively and professionally across organizational levels
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety requirements
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to meet company quality and quantity standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations
- Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use close visual acuity when working with computers and equipment
