About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Bridge QA, production, development, and management by turning test results into risk, status, and clear go/no-go advice
- Represent QA internally and externally, explain QA practices, and uphold standards with external partners and platform holders
- Manage the QA team through 1-on-1s, growth, workload management, and hiring
- Weigh quality risk against business objectives and support or reject calculated risks appropriately
- Plan QA capacity across parallel projects and releases and escalate quality risks early
- Own quality reporting, including release readiness, coverage, bug trends, and roadmap implications
- Challenge the team and identify opportunities that may be overlooked
- Help determine where AI accelerates testing while preserving strong QA fundamentals
- Work closely with the QA Lead Specialist, sharing complementary lead responsibilities and split line management/reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- At least 7 years in software testing, including leading or coordinating a QA team
- Gamedev experience is a strong plus
- Solid grounding in SDLC and STLC, test design techniques, and testing types and levels
- Experience planning QA across parallel projects and platforms (mobile, desktop, web, social) in an Agile setting
- Experience with Jira and TestRail or similar software, including reporting out of them
- A pragmatic, evidence-based view on AI in testing
- Certification like ISTQB is a strong plus
- Test automation experience, ideally with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, JavaScript, or TypeScript, is a strong plus
- Experience with version control and CI integration (Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab) is a strong plus
- Experience working directly with external partners or platform holders is a strong plus
- Experience introducing AI-assisted workflows in a QA team is a strong plus
