About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the DevOps team, contributing to a collaborative culture, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Integrate software development and IT operations by applying DevOps strategies, practices, and culture
- Develop, enhance, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Analyze and resolve issues affecting pipelines, automation, builds, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure high-quality, secure, stable, and efficient deliveries
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across development, infrastructure, monitoring, and operations
- Contribute to system security and compliance while adhering to regulations applicable to the financial sector
- Analyze incidents and problems, identify root causes, and propose improvements
- Evaluate and implement DevOps-related tools and technologies
- Help ensure the stability, availability, and performance of solutions
- Maintain, develop, and enhance scripts and automations using Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, C#, and other technologies
- Provide technical support to less experienced professionals and promote DevOps practices
- Document, standardize, and improve DevOps team processes and solutions
- Implement improvements to increase the productivity of technology teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with and knowledge of DevOps culture, including a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with agile methodologies, Git, Azure DevOps, and/or other CI/CD tools
- Experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience analyzing and resolving issues related to pipelines, builds, and deployments
- Knowledge of and experience with Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, and related automation languages
- Experience with microservices environments, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Knowledge of and practical experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as monitoring tools and practices
- Knowledge of and experience with Linux, AIX, and Microsoft environments
- Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, security, quality, and other technology teams
- Completed or ongoing higher education in a technology-related field
