About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support for the full Copeland product portfolio, including compressors, controls, and accessories, to customers in Colombia and Venezuela
  • Select products
  • Develop application profiles and technical bulletins
  • Administer warranties
  • Coordinate samples
  • Conduct customer training at designated locations
  • Develop cross references and specific documentation supporting commercial initiatives
  • Provide production line support for pilot runs
  • Provide field support and troubleshooting
  • Liaise between end users and OEMs to identify opportunities to specify Copeland products
  • Interact proactively with Product Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, and Sales through designated tasks to enhance customer support
  • Represent Copeland at industry forums and conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related engineering
  • Desired 2-5 years in application/product engineering of AC and/or Refrigeration
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present successfully to customers, including large groups, and senior leadership
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits
  • Understanding of quality metrics
  • Ability to handle measuring and adjusting tools
  • Customer focus
  • Spanish and English proficiency
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
