About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and execute small to mid-size technical projects within Copeland’s Cold Chain Professional Services organization
  • Manage projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including Field Service Managers, Technicians, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain complete project documentation, schedules, logs, forecasts, and closeout records
  • Track project revenue, costs, margins, labor, and material usage
  • Support monthly forecasting and provide S&OP inputs on labor demand and equipment volume
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day project contact for customers
  • Provide project status updates and escalate risks or issues
  • Liaise with engineering and technical teams
  • Guide Project Coordinators and collaborate with Field Service Managers and Technicians
  • Participate in account meetings, project reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain project data in required systems and follow PMO governance and Copeland processes
  • Review active projects, validate new project scope and execution plans, track capacity needs, and recommend solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, or technical field service environments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% based on project and customer needs
  • Commitment to safety and compliance in field environments
  • Ability to support field-based projects, including visits to customer sites as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with multiple active projects
  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting HVACR, controls, refrigeration, or technical services projects (preferred)
  • Experience working with food retail customers (preferred)
  • Familiarity with PMO-driven environments and standardized project controls (preferred)
  • CAPM, PMP, or demonstrated project management proficiency (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require current or future work authorization sponsorship
