About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and control vinegar production processes according to standard operating procedures, regulations, customer specifications, and supervisor instructions
Start up, operate, control, monitor, regulate, measure, and add raw and auxiliary materials to production processes
Take samples for in-process determinations and laboratory analysis
Receive and create Bills of Lading for bulk shipments and print finished-goods labels
Maintain production facilities through cleaning activities in buildings and grounds
Complete basic maintenance activities or enter work orders
Help train co-workers in daily tasks
Register data and hand over production processes
Execute QESH standards to ensure personal and product safety and quality
Follow GMP, SOP, security, housekeeping, HACCP, quality, regulatory, environmental, safety, and health guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment preferred
Process operator experience preferred
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and BPCS
Ability to multi-task and work accurately in a production environment
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
Forklift operation experience or ability to become qualified
Laboratory skills and ability to identify safety hazards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform heavy physical activity, including lifting and pulling materials
Ability to lift, pull, or move objects greater than 50 pounds
Ability to climb, bend, squat, stand, walk, push, pull, reach, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to qualify for and use a dust mask or respirator when required
