About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run 10–20 concurrent client projects and retainers from kickoff through launch and support
Own the master schedule and resource plan for a seven-person team
Build project plans, timelines, budgets, and statements of work with strategy and creative leads
Lead weekly status meetings, internal standups, and client check-ins
Track hours against budget and flag potential overruns
Hold team members accountable and escalate delays early
Manage scope, document and price change requests, and obtain client sign-off
Run quality assurance and launch processes for websites and digital products
Own and improve project management tools and processes
Serve as the day-to-day client contact on delivery in collaboration with the Client Relations Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in digital product development, web development, software, or R&D
Track record of running multiple complex projects simultaneously with shared, limited resources
Direct experience managing developers, designers, and outside vendors through build and launch
Comfortable setting deadlines, running meetings, and delivering difficult news to clients and colleagues
Fluency in Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies, with judgment about when to use each
Expert use of a project management platform and time tracking
Experience with Teamwork and Slack
Clear, concise writing for scopes, status reports, and change orders
Budget management experience, including hours, burn rates, and project profitability
Agency or professional-services background preferred
PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or custom web builds preferred
