About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the execution of HR initiatives in organizational effectiveness, staffing, learning, performance management, employment practices, and HR communications
- Support execution of HR programs/processes within a region
- Manage HR programs/processes in organizational effectiveness, staffing, performance management, learning, and employment practices
- Manage associate relations to maintain a positive and productive environment
- Provide HR support and guidance to HR Regional Managers and their staffs
- Analyze reports to evaluate HR operations for the assigned area
- Assess regional needs and facilitate or develop programs to address them
- Participate in acquisition integration assignments involving orientation, benefits, and training
- Manage a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervise support staff
- Travel overnight 25% to 50% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field
- May require certification
- Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines
- 7+ years of experience providing HR support to all levels of the organization
- Experience supporting an employee base of over 600
- Experience in Staffing, Learning, and Talent management
- Experience supervising others
- Multi-unit management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of ability to make key HR decisions and elevate to appropriate levels of HR/department
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment impacting HR decisions
- HR M&A experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or HR
- Experience using / managing HR systems (PeopleSoft, Kronos) and managing multiple HR system related initiatives
- Familiarity with business specific HR policies and procedures in order to ensure HR systems are in compliance in the processing of information
