About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
- Prepare construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
- Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications
- Prepare grading plans, profiles, road designs, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Research regulatory requirements and design standards
- Perform detailed and complex calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
- Prepare detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
- Assist project engineers in completing projects on time and within project budgets
- Attend project meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled as a Senior, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
- EIT is a plus but not required
- Experience working with Civil 3D and AutoCAD software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes, support better decisions, and increase efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to review AI-generated content for accuracy, protect confidential information, and remain responsible for the final work product
- Only candidates in close proximity to Kent, WA; Bellevue, WA; Richland, WA; Roseville, CA; Bentonville, AR; Frisco, TX; or Philadelphia, PA will be considered
