About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own Corel's topline planning, forecasting and explanation processes
Run the weekly billings forecast
Build the annual operating plan by product
Translate product and sales data into recommendations for executives, the Board and the private-equity sponsor
Prepare topline and KPI sections for monthly operating reviews and quarterly Board materials
Build and maintain product-level KPI scorecards
Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
Respond to CFO, Board and sponsor requests
Lead FP&A planning-system work, including requirements, data validation, revenue and allocation models, and user training
Integrate Snowflake and NetSuite data into planning and reporting with clean, reconciled feeds
Replace manual spreadsheets with repeatable, automated reporting
Document models, planning calendars and controls
Partner with Sales, Marketing and product leaders and challenge assumptions
Support investment cases for campaigns, product launches and headcount using ROI and payback analysis
Partner with Accounting on close timing, ASC 606 revenue recognition and accrual accuracy
Build backup coverage for critical models and processes
Support audits, financing, cost programs and M&A projects
Start as a senior individual contributor, with the option to lead up to two analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in FP&A, sales finance or corporate finance
Experience managing or mentoring analysts
Experience in software, SaaS or subscription businesses
Direct ownership of billings or revenue forecasting and topline KPIs
Hands-on daily experience using Claude or similar AI assistants
Experience building AI-assisted workflows that saved time or improved quality; able to provide 2–3 examples
Ability to validate AI outputs against source data and recognize when not to use AI
Expert financial modelling in Excel with large, linked, driver-based models
Strong knowledge of billings versus revenue, deferred revenue and ASC 606
Clear written and spoken communication, including executive and Board presentations
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
Preferred: NetSuite, Snowflake and SQL, advanced Claude features, Python or similar scripting, AI adoption or training, planning tools such as Planful/Adaptive/Anaplan, Tableau or Power BI, private-equity-backed companies, multi-product/multi-currency/multi-channel businesses, CPA/CFA/MBA
