About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the CFO and own Corel's topline planning, forecasting and analysis
Run the weekly billings forecast
Build the annual operating plan by product
Prepare topline and KPI sections for monthly operating reviews and quarterly Board materials
Build and maintain product-level KPI scorecards
Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
Respond to CFO and executive data requests
Lead FP&A planning-system work in Planful, including requirements, data validation, revenue and allocation models, and user training
Partner with Data and IT to integrate Snowflake and NetSuite data into planning and reporting
Replace manual spreadsheets with repeatable, automated reporting
Document models, planning calendars and controls
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product teams on financial assumptions
Support investment cases for marketing campaigns, product launches and headcount using ROI and payback analysis
Partner with Accounting on close timing, ASC 606 revenue recognition and accrual accuracy
Act as backup on critical models and processes across FP&A
Support audits, cost programs and M&A analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

6–8+ years in FP&A, sales finance or corporate finance
Experience in software, SaaS or subscription businesses
Hands-on billings or revenue forecasting and topline KPI work
Hands-on daily experience using Claude or similar AI assistants (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini)
Track record of building AI-assisted workflows that saved time or improved quality; ready to show 2–3 examples
Ability to check AI outputs against source data and recognize when not to use AI
Expert financial modelling in Excel, including large, linked, driver-based models
Strong grasp of billings versus revenue, deferred revenue and ASC 606 software revenue recognition
Clear written and spoken communication, including presenting to senior leaders
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
Preferred: Experience with NetSuite, including GL structure, saved searches and reporting
Preferred: Experience with Snowflake and SQL
Preferred: Advanced Claude use, including Projects, connectors, skills, artifacts, Claude in Excel or Claude API
Preferred: Light scripting with Python or similar
Preferred: Experience helping colleagues adopt AI tools
Preferred: Experience implementing or administering a planning tool such as Planful, Adaptive or Anaplan
Preferred: Tableau or Power BI
Preferred: Private-equity-backed company experience, including sponsor and lender reporting
Preferred: Multi-product, multi-currency, multi-channel business experience
Preferred: CPA, CFA or MBA
