About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process weekly timesheets and mileage reimbursement forms
  • Review and process payroll accurately and on time
  • Process payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other contributions
  • Maintain accurate clinician information across payroll-related systems
  • Process manual checks, perform calculations, and prepare paperwork for ACH transfers, wires, and GCC loads
  • Communicate with clinicians regarding timesheet requirements and essential documentation
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve issues professionally
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable tax and deduction laws
  • Support all aspects of the payroll department as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties for the Finance Department
  • Create and document task responsibilities and maintain accurate, up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures
  • Follow and stay informed about departmental SOP updates
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned
  • Coordinate with the payroll department and collaborate with the Payroll Manager, Finance Team, Sales Team, and other operational departments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of payroll concepts and terminology is a plus
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Internet research skills preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to payroll systems and software
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong sense of urgency with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Confidentiality Agreement required
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing
