About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and understand actual problems before coding
Rapidly prototype ideas using modern AI tools
Use AI coding agents under strict architecture guidelines and clean design patterns
Build quickly while documenting and tracing important design decisions
Create software and feature blueprints before implementation
Apply systems engineering and software engineering design patterns
Make and own major architecture decisions, including decisions about microservices
Design cloud-native product architectures
Conduct constructive, high-standard code reviews
Build and maintain AI agentic workflows
Build and maintain reliable, observable, safely reprocessable customer-data pipelines
Ship features end to end, including React screens, Python services, and AWS infrastructure
Make quality measurable through evaluation sets, tracing, and latency and cost budgets
Integrate with customers’ enterprise systems and real business data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Multiple years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with ownership of architecture decisions
Practical, current experience with AI-assisted development (not just “tried it once”)
Understanding of cloud native architecture, ideally on AWS
End-to-end reach across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with the ability to take a feature to production
High speed and high structural discipline
Strong communication skills to explain and defend architecture decisions
Experience with React, Python, and AWS infrastructure
Experience building AI agentic workflows using industry-standard frameworks
Experience building data processing pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of customer data
Knowledge of evaluation sets, tracing, and latency and cost budgets
Experience integrating with enterprise customer systems
Resume, portfolio, GitHub, or an example of a recently built project using an AI-assisted workflow
