About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and present solutions to technical and business audiences
- Design and implement Azure-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure database systems
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate structured and unstructured data
- Leverage Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services
- Collaborate with architects on scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure Data & AI architectures
- Implement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bicep, and Terraform
- Ensure data governance, privacy, and security compliance, including RBAC, encryption, and identity management
- Develop advanced reports and interactive Power BI dashboards
- Mentor junior team members, contribute to internal best practices, and stay current with Azure Data & AI innovations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data processing and AI tasks
- Hands-on experience with at least two Azure data services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB
- Familiarity with AI services in Azure, including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Cognitive Services
- Experience developing Power BI solutions for advanced analytics and data storytelling
- Understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming solutions
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client-facing engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
