About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for 200 to 8,000+ learners
- Deliver instruction in math, verbal reasoning, and technical problem-solving tailored to learner needs
- Manage class-time Q&A, chat flow, class energy, and learner engagement
- Collaborate with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and schedule adherence
- Contribute to classes during weekdays and/or weekends as program schedules vary
- Assist with lesson design, development, and curriculum improvements
- Prepare diligently for lectures and deliver high-quality content
- Adjust lesson pace and presentation for diverse learners while maintaining timely content delivery
- Make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement
- Communicate respectfully and maintain regular contact with Correlation One personnel
- Foster a positive learning environment
- Provide thoughtful feedback for course improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in the Cybersecurity field (or another related field)
- Degree in a technical field
- CompTIA Security+ certification or related certifications (i.e. CISM)
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment
- Experience training learners on foundational technical skillsets
- An excellent educator with a passion for teaching and helping others
- Outstanding team and people management skills
- Experience working with the Unix terminal, especially with cybersecurity-related applications
- Familiarity with Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Triage
