About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide testing subject-matter expertise to Agile/SCRUM teams during sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
Develop test strategies for new functionality in desktop and web-based applications
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop comprehensive test sets
Lead regression test and automation team members to maintain high product quality across releases
Run manual test scripts and create and maintain automated test scripts
Analyze failed test runs and manage defects using a defect tracking tool
Diagnose failures and gather information to assist engineering with defect resolution
Prepare regression test cases for existing functionality as new functionality is introduced
Align conduct with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and support the Ethics and Compliance Program
Comply with internal policies and procedures
Participate in company-provided training and education
Ensure compliance with privacy and security rules and protect confidential information, including Personal Health Information

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in a software development organization
7+ years of software testing experience in a multi-tier, database-intensive, mission-critical enterprise application in a Microsoft environment
2+ years of Agile/SCRUM testing experience
Experience using test automation tools and frameworks for Windows desktop and web-based applications
Hands-on professional experience with a programming or scripting language, preferably Selenium, C#, VB.NET, PowerShell, Typescript, jQuery, or JavaScript
Hands-on professional experience with SQL scripting, preferably in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
Knowledge of XML and XSLT processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Database MS SQL and non-SQL knowledge, such as MongoDB or CosmosDB, is a plus
Experience with virtual machine environments such as VMware
Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED) and HL7 standards
Knowledge of cloud computing such as Windows Azure or Amazon Web Services
Knowledge of Selenium, COM+, ASP.NET Web API, Angular, or Node.js
Prior experience in Healthcare IT
