About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate activities and ensure the quality of services provided and team performance.
- Coordinate engineering, sanitation infrastructure, and other projects and construction works, verifying technical standards and compliance with applicable legislation.
- Assess the conditions required for projects and construction works.
- Plan the mobilization of necessary equipment.
- Prepare designs, specifications for materials, equipment, and labor, and estimate costs.
- Consult engineering specialists and professionals in related fields.
- Direct, guide, and oversee the execution of projects and construction works.
- Assist the public and consult legislation, standards, technical documents, and registration data.
- Prepare technical reports, opinions, regulatory instructions, and engineering reports.
- Research and propose functional and cost-effective methods.
- Prepare and approve measurements with the client.
- Guide, detail, modify, and approve detailed designs with the client.
- Organize and supervise market research and cost composition.
- Monitor bids and contracts for construction works and services.
- Prepare management reports for management and the executive board.
- Participate in defining training programs and selecting professionals for the area.
- Keep equipment in excellent condition and clean.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Operate vehicles used in activities efficiently and safely.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and use personal and collective protective equipment.
- Demonstrate commitment to Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Perform related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Sanitary, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in process diagnosis and improvement, as well as in the design of Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs).
- Experience leading, managing, or coordinating technical engineering teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
